Journal Prompts
Keep each meeting format the same with your weekly goal setting and check-ins. The first four topics are an exercise in establishing trust first. The subsequent topics are to dig deeper in an exercise of vulnerability and over coming shame.

Identify Double Binds
Review Self Care and SEEDS and journal about strengths and weaknesses. Set your first achievable goal. ​Brainstorm things that bring you joy and set a specific self care plan.
Review the SAFE People check list and journal about strengths and weaknesses. Be ready to share a specific example that you see in yourself as a strength and weakness. Consider setting a goal to practice on this topic for accountability.

Journal about any obstacles you may have encountered in your goal setting. Are any adjustments needed? Give yourself credit for any small wins and whether you need to stay the course or enhance your goal. Make note of any new awareness you may have encountered or observed.
Identify any situation where you feel stuck in coming to a decision. Or, a situation you feel like you will lose, no matter what you decide. Journal about why this event is a double bind and what feelings you are carrying. If you were to take a baby step to help you cope or, come to acceptance, what would it be?
Celebrate any accomplishments or, decide on a group activity as appropriate.
